(Society of African Missions) (late of Poulnabany, Craughwell, Co. Galway) - July 8, 2019 (peacefully), at the African Missions, Blackrock Road, Cork, Rev. Fr. Johnie, predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Ann (née Rooney), sisters Sr. Maureen FC and Angela (Gallagher), brothers Tommy and Paddy and sister-in-law Brid; deeply regretted by his sisters Sr. Bridie and Sr. Clare (Good Shepherd Sisters), Tessie (Callanan), Sr. Agnes OLA, sister-in-law Pat Haverty, nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends, SMA Confreres and the people of Kaduna Archdiocese, Nigeria. Reposing from 5.30 o'c. on Tuesday, at the Society of African Missions, Blackrock Road, Cork. Thanksgiving Mass at 10.30 o'c. on Wednesday, followed by removal to St. Colman’s Church, Craughwell, Co. Galway. Reposing in St. Colman’s Church from 5 o'c. to 8 o'c. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Thursday followed by burial in Ballymore Cemetery. Requiescat in Pace.
