GOALEY, Very Reverend Fr. Michael Canon (Glenamaddy, Co. Galway, formerly of Annaghdown, Co. Galway) - January 5, 2023 (peacefully), at UH Galway surrounded by his loving nieces, nephews, in his 92nd year, predeceased by his parents John and Katie, brothers Denis, Martin and John Joe, sisters Mary Forde, Kathleen Heneghan and Nora Warde; deeply regretted by his loving brother Francis, sister-in-law Minnie, his loyal housekeeper of 54 years Joy Maye, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, former parishioners, neighbours, friends, Archbishop Francis Duffy, retired Archbishop Michael Neary and his fellow priests of the Archdiocese of Tuam. Requiescat in Pace. Reposing at St. Patrick's Church, Glenamaddy, tomorrow (Sunday, January 8) from 3pm until 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (January 9) at 11am, burial afterwards in Annaghdown Cemetery, arriving at 2.45pm approximately.
