McDONAGH (née Lawless), Vera (Greendale, Raheny, formerly of Drimnagh, Dublin) - June 29, 2021 (peacefully), in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny and surrounded by her loving family; sadly missed by her loving family, sisters-in-law Breda, Jean, Vera and Marian, her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Keith, Mairead, John, Alan, Linda, Andrew, Caroline and Helen and their spouses and partners. Besotted great-aunt to Sophie and Senan, dear friends Mary, Jackie, Kieron, Betty, Dermot, PJ, Marie and the Fogarty family, with special mention of Sylvia a life-long friend to Vera. Vera’s wide circle of her relatives, close friends and amazing neighbours. After a life well lived may Vera be reunited her devoted husband Jimmy, loving brother Dan and their parents Samuel and May Lawless. Rest in peace. Vera will be reposing at Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Unit 4 Kish House, Greendale Road, (Foxfield) Raheny, Eircode D05 KP80, today (Thursday, July 1) from 3 o'c. - 5 o'c. Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a family Funeral Service will take place next door to the funeral home tomorrow (Friday, July 2) at 11.00 o'c. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Greendale Road, (Foxfield) Raheny, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery. After a life well lived may Vera be reunited with her beloved husband Jimmy, her brother Dan and parents in paradise.
