SMYTH, Sr. Philomena (Missionary Sister of the Holy Rosary) (Cavan formerly of Moynalty, Co. Meath, on mission in Kenya, Zambia, and Ireland) - August 21, 2023, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff in College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her parents, Philip and Mary, brothers and sister. Sr. Philomena will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, her extended family, the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary and all her friends. May she Rest in Peace Sr. Philomena’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated this (Wednesday) morning at 11 o'c. in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, followed by burial in the Convent plot in Cullies Cemetery.
