LOUGHRAN, Sr. Monica, (Sisters of Mercy, Mill Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth and formerly of Drogheda) - December 6, 2020 (peacefully), in St. Francis Nursing Home (Mount Oliver) Dundalk. Predeceased by her brothers, Brother Kevin C.B., Noel and Fr. Vincent O.S.A.; deeply regretted by her Mercy Community and devoted family, Fr. Seán O.S.A., Sr. Claire R.S.M, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her past pupils of the Sacred Heart School, Drogheda and the U.S.A. Rest In Peace. Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings (a limit of 25 people in the Church) Sr. Monica’s Funeral will be held privately for immediate family and Sisters only. Funeral will be streamed live on www. stmarysdrogheda.ie at 11 o'c. today (Tuesday December 8) followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
