CLAFFEY (née Dunne), Rose (Killinlahan, Ballinagore, Co. Westmeath, formerly of Rahugh) - August 11, 2021 (peacefully), in her 93rd year in the care of Bethany House Nursing Home, Tyrrellspass, surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her husband Oliver, son Kevin, brothers Charlie and Br. James and sisters Elizabeth (Wrafter), Molly (Slevin) and Sr. Diana; deeply regretted by her loving sons and daughters, P.J., Teresa (Conroy), Concepta (Guinan), Gerry, Patricia (Dolan), Sean and Carmel, her adored 23 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters, sisters Angela (Flanagan) and Bernadette (O’Brien), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, godchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Rose’s gentle soul rest in peace. In keeping with current Government guidelines, regarding public gatherings, a private family Funeral will take place for Rose. Rose’s Funeral cortège will be leaving her residence at 12.30 o'c. into Castletown tomorrow (Friday, August 13), friends and neighbours are welcome to line the route. Arriving at St. Michael’s Church, Castletown Geoghegan for Funeral Mass at 1 o’c. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
