GAVIN C.S.Sp., Rev. Denis (late of Blackrock College and Ballinaculla, Clonown, Athlone, Co. Roscommon), died on Friday January 13, 2023, Missionary in Ireland, Malawi, Nigeria and the USA, son of the late Denis and Mary Gavin, predeceased by his brother Pat and sister Mary; deeply regretted by his brother Michael, sisters Kathleen (USA) and Bridie (UK), sisters-in-law Helen and Carmel, brother-in-law Brendan, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, Spiritan confrères and his many friends. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass in Holy Spirit Parish Church, Kimmage Manor, at 11am tomorrow (Tuesday, January 17), followed by burial in Clonown Cemetery, Athlone at 2.15pm.
