ROONEY , Michael Snr., Slanemore late of Ashe Road, Mullingar, peacefully but unexpectedly at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin - August 3rd 2024. Predeceased by his beloved son Michael Jnr., Michael will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his devoted wife Betty, sons Alan, Aidan, Frank, Patrick and daughter Elizabeth, cherished grandchildren, sister Ann (Murtagh), nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, extended family, great neighbours and lifelong friends. Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (today) Tuesday from 4 pm with Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm. Funeral Mass (tomorrow) Wednesday at 11 am followed by burial in Walshestown Cemetery. Rest in peace
