DOWNEY (née Beere), Kathleen (23 The Glebe, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare, formerly of Clonkeen, Portlaoise, Co. Laois) - July 25, 2024. Pre deceased by her husband Paddy and son Séamus. Much loved mother of Eileen, Declan, Grainne, Padraig and Joseph. Sadly missed by her loving family; daughters in law Margaret, Therese, Anne and Kathryn. Her grandchildren Emma, Ryan, Jennifer, Conor, Séan, Hannah, Rachel, Blaithin, Ciara, Kevin and David, her great-grandson Paddy, her brother Joe, and sister Nelly (of Pennsylvania, USA), sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours. May Kathleen's gentle soul Rest In Peace. Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Monasterevin on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 4 o'c to 7:30pm, with Rosary Recital at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, July 27, at 11 o'c in St. Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin, with internment afterwards in St. Evin's Cemetery Monasterevin.
