MCELROY, John (late of Drimnagh, Dublin 12), 12th September 2024; peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’ Hospital. Predeceased by his sons John and Aidan; beloved husband and best friend of Peggy, loving dad of Paddy, Yvonne and Audrey, adored grandad to his wonderful grandchildren & great-grandchildren. John will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Daragh, daughters-in-law Olive and Christine, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May John rest in peace. Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village today Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Saturday at 10am in Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road, Drimnagh followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross for 11.30am.
