Mayo) – September 6, 2020 (peacefully) surrounded by his family after a short illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, John J. (Séan) (retired An Garda Síochána, Kill-o-the-Grange Station), dearly beloved husband of the late Mary (née Curran) (Baile na Habhann, Galway), much loved and devoted father to Deirdre, Sinéad and the late Gráinne; very sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (opp. Salllynoggin Church) this (Tuesday) evening from 5 o'c. with Prayer Service at 7o'c. (The Munnelly family invite those of you who feel comfortable to attend the Funeral Home to share a memory and pay your respects to John and the family to please wear face coverings and sanitise your hands). Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney arriving at 9.50 o'c. (all attending must wear face coverings). Funeral immediately after 10 o'c. Requiem Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. In accordance with Government guidelines on public gatherings, John’s Requiem Mass will be strictly limited to 45 persons.
