DESMOND, John (formerly Of Coillte) (Ard Mhuire, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway) - September 29, 2023, passed (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at University Hospital Galway. Much loved husband of his recently deceased wife Peggy, father of Brendan, Niall, John, Anne, Colm, Paul and brother of Jerry and Con. John will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, brothers, daughters-in-law Joan, Breíd, Fionnuala, Leonie and Mary, son in law Marty, his 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace Dad. John will repose at his residence in Ard Mhuire, Ballinasloe H53 VX99, today Tuesday (3 October) from 4 o'c to 8 o'c. Removal from his residence on Wednesday at 10:30 am to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe, for Requiem Mass at 11 o'c. John will be laid to rest afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
