KENNEDY (née O'Sullivan), Joan (28 Bishop Court, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, and formerly of Maiden Street and Boher Bui, Newcastle West) - August 24, 2024. Joan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of the wonderful staff of Larchfield Park Nursing Home, Naas. Joan is predeceased by her husband David, her brothers Dick, Tim and Gerard and her sisters-in-law Anna, and Maureen. Joan the beloved mother of Tom, Owen, David and her daughter Kelda (Lewis). She will be fondly remembered by her brothers Con O'Sullivan, and Owen O'Sullivan, her sisters-in-law Maureen, Peg and Muriel, her daughters-in-law Sharon and Patricia and her son-in-law Alistair. Her much loved grandchildren Laura, Eoin and Daisy. Her nephews, nieces, grand nephews, and grand nieces and all her other relatives and friends. May her gentle soul rest in Peace. Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West (V42 CD52) on Tuesday 27th August from 6 o'clock to 7.30 o'clock, arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Newcastle West at 8 o'clock on Tuesday evening. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 28th August at 11.30 o'clock with a private cremation on Thursday 29th August at Shannon Crematorium for family and relatives. Family flowers only please.
