DOHERTY (née Arrigan), Joan (Forster Court, Galway, formerly of Foxford, Co. Mayo and native of Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford) - April 29, 2021 (peacefully), at home with her family by her side, dearly beloved wife of the late Michael (Charlestown, Co. Mayo) and predeceased by her parents Mick and Dolly and by her brother Paddy; very deeply missed by her much-loved daughters Róisín and Áine, son-in-law Fergal and grandchildren Eoin, Christopher and Heather; sadly missed by her sister-in-law Geraldine, Michael’s brother Vincent and his wife Helen, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Removal from her home on Monday morning (May 3) to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon at St. Patrick’s Church, Forster Street. Funeral after Mass to the New Cemetery, Bohermore. Mass will not be livestreamed. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations, if desired, to Croí, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland or Galway Hospice Foundation.
