O'FARRELL, James (The Rectory, Newtown, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny) - January 29, 2023 (peacefully), predeceased by his beloved wife Bridie (née Holden) and their son Eamonn; he is deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving children Eileen (Kenny), Seamus, Una (Kirwan), Brenda (Ryan) and Donal, his brother Walter Walshe, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May He Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home today (Tuesday) from 2pm-5pm followed by reception of remains at 6:30pm to the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am with interment afterwards in St Mary's New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
