MCGOVERN, James (Jimmy) (Rathfarnham, and formerly of The Green Cashel) 6th July 2024. Peacefully surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of Our Lady’s Hospice staff, Harold’s Cross. Beloved husband of the late Ana (Anastasia), predeceased by his brothers Tommy and Mattie, his sisters Mary, Helen and Carmel, and son-in-law Mark. Loving Dad to Des, Helen, Lorna and James. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Albert, sisters Vera, Mel and Claire, son-in-law David, daughters-in-law Aileen and Gerry, nieces, nephews, extended family and his wonderful carer and friend Gemma. Adored Grandad (BB) to Izzy, Amelie, Jamie, Nina, Abbie, Conor and Evie. Reposing at Fanagan’s Funeral Home, WIllbrook, Rathfarnham on Tuesday July 9th from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass at 10am on Wednesday July 10th in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan, and afterward to Mt. Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please.
