KEANE, James (Jim) (Birchgrove, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway and formerly of Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo) (Retired Garda) – October 21st, 2024, (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the devoted staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ena, his two sons Niall and Paul, his daughters-in-law Claire and Lorraine and his adored grandsons Conor, James and Kevin, his brother Jer and sister-in-law Beatrice, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), today (Thursday), from 5pm to 7pm, with removal afterwards to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh. Requiem Mass will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in St. Coman's Cemetery, Roscommon.
