EOGAN, George, Professor Emeritus of Celtic Archaeology, University College Dublin (Dublin and Nobber, Co. Meath) – November 18, 2021 (peacefully), at Our Lady's Hospice, following a long and happy life; sadly missed by his loving wife Fiona (née Stephens) and his children James, Maeve, Deirdre and Clíona, daughter- and sons-in-law Maeve O'Callaghan, Mark Simpson, Niall Murphy and Brian Moore. Much loved Grandad of Heather, Sarah, Lucy, Henry, Martha, Joseph, Eleanor, Anna, Charlotte and Louisa. George will be greatly missed by his extended family, friends, colleagues and former students.
