DUIGNAN, Edward (Ned) MRCVS (Veterinary Surgeon, Abbeytown, Roscommon) - July 29, 2021 (peacefully), at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon, in his 96th year; husband of the late Mary (Naughton), much loved by his family Ria, Anthony, Arthur, Maeve and Ann, grandchildren Conor, Mary Clare (deceased), Chris, Caoimhe, Odhran, Ailtin, Ultan and Ellie, great-granddaughter Rosie, daughters-in-law Clare (deceased) and Maresa, and sons-in-law David and Tim; Ned will be fondly remembered by his relatives, colleagues, neighbours and wide circle of friends. The Duignan family would like to express sincere gratitude to all the staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital for their exemplary care. In an effort to follow current guidelines, Ned’s funeral will be attended by family only. His funeral cortege will depart from his home in Abbeytown tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10.30 o’c. and will arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c.
