TALLON, Dermot - Late of Ballymun, formerly of Whitehall and retired postman (known as Dinny) May 10th 2023. Passed peacefully in his 93rd year at the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary and the late Mary (who passed away in 1968) and beloved father of Dermot, Leo, Richard and Lynda. Predeceased by his beloved brothers and sister. Sadly missed by his family, Anthony, grandchildren Aaron, Luke, Adam and Katie, in-laws and partners, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Ballymun Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, on Wednesday (May 17th) from 4.00pm to 4.45pm. Removal on Wednesday departing from the funeral home at 4.50pm to arrive at the Church of The Virgin Mary, Shangan Road at 5.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning (May 18th) at 10.00am, followed by burial in the Old Balgriffin Cemetery, Carr’s Lane, Malahide Road.
