DONOHUE, Brendan (ex Garda Sergeant) (Mountpleasant, Loughrea, Co. Galway and formerly Scotshouse, Co. Monaghan) - May 9, 2020 (peacefully), in the tender loving care of the wonderful staff of Clarenbridge Nursing Home, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Fagan) and dear father of Ann (Malone, Mullinavat), Orla (O'Sullivan, Bailieborough), Michael (Kylebrack) and Maria (Limerick); he will be sadly missed by his brother Liam, sisters Margaret and Kathleen (Murray), sons-in-law P.J., Kevin and Jim, daughter-in-law Roseanne, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family and many loyal friends from all over Ireland. Due to current government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place in St. Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea today (Tuesday, May 12) at 12 o'c. followed by burial in Mountpleasant Cemetary.
