MARTIN, Billy (St. Brendan's Street, Portumna, Galway) - October 20, 2022, passed (peacefully), from this life, in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his devoted family, predeceased by his wife Eileen, son John, brother Val and sisters Mary and Ella; Billy will be sadly missed by his loving and cherished children, Mary, Liam, Majella and Rosemarie, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Carmel and Mari, sons-in-law Ciarán and Leo, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, good friends, neighbours and wonderful carers. Billy will lie in repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Funeral Home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village today (Saturday, October 22), from 5 o'c. to 7 o'c. The family have requested that those attending adhere to mask wearing in the interests of public health. Billy's funeral cortége will leave from his home tomorrw (Sunday) morning for Requiem Mass in St. Brigid's Church, Portumna at 10.30 o'c. with burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
