BYRNE,(Rockford Green, Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of St. Patrick’s Crescent, Monkstown) - May 25, 2020, (peacefully, at home surrounded by his wonderful family. Anthony (Tony) dearly beloved husband and best friend of the late Colette and loving grandfather of the late Robert; he will be very sadly missed by his loving daughters Deborah and Sandra, grandchildren Derek, Steven, Karl, Danielle, Aaron, Sarah, Rebecca, AJ and their partners Michelle, Jayde and Gill, great-grandchildren Halle, Callum, Kya, Roman, Theo, Alex, Hayden and Ava, brothers Billy, Ger, Dessie and Joe, sister Betty and her husband Dickie, sisters-in-law especially Phyllis, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace. A special word of thanks to all the staff at St. James Hospital, St. Michael’s Hospital and the Blackrock Hospice for the wonderful care they showed to Tony. Due to Government warnings in place on public gatherings, a private funeral will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown on Friday (May 29) at 10 o'c. followed thereafter by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
