SHINE (née Griffin), Anne (Parnell Square and Kiltoom, Athlone) (peacefully) - July 28, 2021, in her 106th year, in the tender and loving care of the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon, predeceased by her beloved husband William and infant son William; her kind and gentle soul will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Mary (Dooley), son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren; Orlagh and her husband Roy, Emmet and his wife Tanya and Emer, great-grandchildren Kevin, Hannah and Bláithin, her carers Ann Moran and Deborah Leonard, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May She Rest In Peace. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and by adhering to government guidelines, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Anne, for family members and close friends only (max. 50 people) tomorrow (Friday) at 11 o'c. in S.S. Peter and Paul's Church, followed by burial afterwards in Clonown Cemetery. For those who wish to Live Stream Anne's Funeral Mass, a link is available on the parish website. As a mark of respect, Dooley's Florist, Magazine Road and Golden Island will both be closed on Friday until 2 o'c.
